Allison Stockfleth, MA, LPC

Hello, I’m Allison Stockfleth. I’m passionate about helping young women and adults feel confident, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s biggest transitions. I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, and young professionals who are adjusting to new beginnings and evolving identities.

Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, academic stress, life transitions, or questions around identity development, I provide a compassionate space to help you manage the emotional weight of personal, medical, relational, or professional changes. My background in healthcare—including work in oncology, hospice, and chronic illness care as both a CNA and LPC—gives me a deep understanding of how illness, stress, and uncertainty can affect mental health for individuals and families alike.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences openly, build resilience, and develop practical skills to feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

I earned my graduate degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have provided specialized care in oncology and hospice settings at the Cancer Wellness Center and NorthShore University HealthSystem. In recent years, I’ve worked in private practice, supporting clients through a wide range of life challenges.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions and am committed to creating a warm, welcoming space where you can grow, heal, and rediscover your strength. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward greater peace and well-being.
